You can enjoy homemade granola and bread. There is a reading area, next to the restaurant, surrounded by in the distance, the Gulf of Nicoya. You can sit there with your book, computer or family member and get cozy and lounge-away the afternoon.

The Original Canopy Tour:
During your vacation at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge, you can get the opportunity to enjoy the Original Canopy Tour with a short, guided hike through the private 70-acre reserve. You can also go for exploring the beauty of the rainforest. This canopy tour starts at 7:30 am, 10:30 am and 2:30 pm and lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours.
Trails:
In the lodge’s 30 hectares of forest there are 5 km of private trails and you can enjoy a trip to the butterfly and orchid garden or the Monteverde Cheese Factory. There you can also learn about the region’s cultural history and try a sampling of local cheeses and ice cream. You can spot more than 180 species of colorful birds.
