Camping

For camping, vacationers have three options; in the jungle, by the beach or on the top of a mountain. Depending upon your choice, you can have a wild time with the monkeys, a spectacular race with the waves and a lovely time gazing at the panoramas of the town from the mountain top. The ranch offers outside bathrooms along with showers, tables and chairs and basic utensils. It is recommended that you bring your own food and drinks, flashlights and insect repellents.

Night Tours

About the Farm

For many years, the farm merely used to be a platform for a small cattle business run by a group of four employees. However, even then the farm was admired for its panoramic beauty. In 2012, the owners began to conduct horseback riding tours and few months later, the farm was named ‘Rancho Tropical’. They created a website and hired more employees including a bilingual and experienced tour guide. In 2013, the farm became one of the most popular places for horseback riding tours in the Osa Peninsula. Many hotels in the peninsula recommended Rancho Tropical for adventurous activities and excursions. Due to its success, the owners of Rancho Tropical decided to offer more activities such as waterfall rappelling, rainforest hiking, bird watching, farming tour, night walking and camping. For future projects, they are thinking to introduce a natural tree house, a suspended bridge and tree climbing.
